It's almost there.
I had the opportunity to meet up with the insurer's engineer and contractor on Monday, alongside County Council Officers who were providing technical advice. It would appear that the constant pressure that had been applied by myself and local residents (and then by our legal officers) has at last paid off.
Viewing the wall for what seemed like the gazillionth time, we discussed specifications, land tenure and most importantly of all - timescales.
With the insurance company wrangles now sorted, it would appear that the wall will soon be rebuilt and those ghastly saftey barriers removed.
